About Teacher
I am an experienced IB Physics tutor with a long-standing background in teaching IB Diploma Programme Physics in international school settings. I have worked extensively with both SL and HL students and have a strong understanding of IB assessment criteria, having also served as an IB Physics examiner.
I support students through all aspects of the IB Physics course, including exam preparation, Internal Assessments and Extended Essays. My teaching focuses on building clear conceptual understanding alongside strong problem-solving skills, helping students approach challenging topics with confidence and structure.
In addition to IB Physics, I have experience working with students following AP and IGCSE Physics curricula. I have tutored students from a wide range of academic backgrounds and locations, adapting lessons to suit individual needs and learning styles.
My approach is calm, methodical and aligned closely with IB expectations. I use technology and simulations where helpful to clarify abstract concepts and encourage active engagement. With an engineering background, I also aim to connect theory to real-world applications, supporting students in developing both understanding and academic independence.
